Quickstart
Use a finite personal API token from your account’s Credentials settings. For a client acting on another person’s behalf, use registered OAuth with S256 PKCE and consent instead; see authentication.
Replace <token> in each header with your personal API token.
This returns your identity and personal_account_id. Listing translations
requires translation.list. You do not need to copy an account ID to try
the translation catalogue:
The catalogue lists available translation editions and their metadata. It does not grant access to scripture or enable translations in your library.
Next steps
To read your library,
read scripture or
list your Lives, use the
personal_account_id returned by /me in the endpoint’s account path. Those
resources require an account ID; the first requests above do not. Scripture reads
also require a translation installed and enabled in your account and the
translation.read scope.
Read retries and concurrency before writing resources and Live events for state updates. Shared workspace automation has a separate Organizations quickstart.
