# Search organization scripture

GET https://api.bibleit.app/v1/organizations/{organization_id}/translations/{slug}/search

**Required scopes:** `translation.search`.

Requires an enabled organization translation. Results follow native source order, without relevance ranking or cursor pagination. has_more indicates truncation; raise limit up to 100 to see additional matches. Searches share the existing ssh_search allowance (20/minute per principal by default) in addition to REST admission. Query is 1–256 UTF-8 bytes. Unknown or duplicate query parameters are rejected.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Organization-owned service token. Issue the initial token in organization credential settings. Scopes are documented per operation via x-required-scopes; they are not OAuth scopes.
