# Read an organization library membership

GET https://api.bibleit.app/v1/organizations/{organization_id}/translations/{slug}

**Required scopes:** `translation.get`.

Returns reviewed metadata for an edition enabled in the authenticated organization. Absent membership returns 404. Does not fetch text, install content or grant scripture access. Current authority is rechecked after the shared organization lock.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Organization-owned service token. Issue the initial token in organization credential settings. Scopes are documented per operation via x-required-scopes; they are not OAuth scopes.
